Garden... check.

In my never ending quest to become self sustainable and rich, I promised to build my wife a garden as a Valentine's Day gift (because gifts given should, whenever possible, should benefit the gift giver as well). So about a year after I promised the garden, I built it (hey that's standard turn around in today's economy). Rather than build some Nancy pants garden like you probably have at your house, I went and built a small forest bed... and I used Cedar, which is found in the forest, fool.

I then looked at the garden I had built and demanded it grow things that my wife and I could eat. The garden listened, and began growing, zucchini, squash, snap peas, green beans, asparagus, onions, green onions, celery, banana peppers, jalapenos, tomatoes, bell peppers, spinach, romaine lettuce, green leaf lettuce, cilantro, basil, parsley, corn and melon.  I considered making the garden grow us some beef, but did not want to deplete the soil nutrients too quickly (we did fill this thing with near 40 wheel barrow loads of dirt).

Now when the wife or I are hungry we just walk out to the garden and eat things.
That's how we roll.
