AZ Sunset (dang I shoot nice mobile pics)

Thought I would share this sweet sunset we had in in Arizona yesterday. This picture was taken on my G1 Android phone, traveling west (sunset... duh) on the 202, while driving approximately 67 mph. Yep it is an awesome pic, I know. I will turn it into an iGoogle theme and post the link so you all can enjoy it everyday. Feel free to download the full version from my picasa web album titled Android. ;)

Wanted: Substitute Wife

Last week my wife decided to hit me with 2 bombshells. First, she tells me that her mom is dropping off their dogs, or perhaps more apporpriatley named, the dog-in-laws, and they will be joining our already K9 infested home. This highly appreciated little agreement brings the grand total of of dogs in this house to 8, yes 8 dogs... which I will gladly break down for you now:
5- Pugs 1- Lab 1- English Bulldog 1- Shih Tzu (Lab not pictured, obviously) So far things are not going well. The Shih Tzu barks... all the damn time, which sucks, but it is an improvement from it's last visit which included rolling in shit and rubbing it all over the house and furniture (PS the Shih Tzu's name is Snuggles, yet I refuse to snuggle anything that is covered in poop). The bulldog, well I actually like the Bulldog, or at least I used to. He would be great if he quit trying to eat the Pugs. The twins hate him and refuse to play any of his bulldog games, instead they just tag team him until he figures out they are not "playing" and then he goes all Brock Lesnar on their furry little asses. Then there is Doo... our "special" little Pug, who actually had a close call with a bulldog once before, but flat out refuses to believe that he is 1/16 the size of his opponent and subsequently causes the biggest fights, because he "rallies the troops" and then everyone starts fighting anyone is nearby (reminds me of a good hockey fight...just louder). Oh, and I cannot forget the Lab.. also "special", but really he just has issues with jumping in the pool then running back in the house. In case you don't know, we have no carpet... at all, so when I step in a wet dog puddle on the tile... it is hard not to go down. Obviously watching all these dogs is going to suck. Luckily my wife will be there to help... which brings me to bombshell number 2. During the stay of the above mentioned dog-in-laws, the wife will be house sitting for our friends. That's right she will not even be here. So far things are not good. Monday morning began with shih tzu barking at 4:30 and NEVER ENDING, one of the pugs threw up on the bathroom rug, the bulldog started a fight before they were even fed, and someone pissed on my pillow. As far as the rest of life is concerned, the trash can has been full since Traci left, I have an upset stomach, I am running out of clean clothes, my bed is still not made from the previously mentioned pissing incident, and the two MAJOR successes for today are I still have a job and Rob is not in jail. Needless to say, I am taking applications for a substitute wife. I use fill-ins all the time on dates, like to the Improv, dinner, and movies, so why not now? If you are interested in helping me survive until Thursday, please fill out an application (see link below)! Thank you and God bless. Substitute Wife Application View Applicant Responses Here

What's in a name?

Let me preface that this will be one of my tech-ier/ish posts, so some of you (you know who you are) may go ahead and tune out right now.

What to do...
When I first started this blog I also had a website. The website and the blog were both called "Tenkely.Net", and things were pretty confusing. On a whim, I changed the name of the blog to Dolphin Free but left the mapping at the original domain. Eventually I decided I wanted to focus my effort on the blog (Google was killing Google Page Creator anyway) and I eventually took the website down.

Here is where I am at now, and why I am asking for some feedback. What is in a name? Should the name match the title here? If so which direction should I choose? There are a couple obvious choices, I could just leave things alone, keep the name and the domain as they are now, or I could match them, either with a dolphin free domain or by changing the blog name to Tenkely.Net. Heck, I could even change the name to ilovegiantassburritos.com (I checked, it's available). Decisions, decisions, decisions... I am sure this doesn't bother everyone and is pretty geeky, but it is bothering me and let's face it, I have enough BAPs to matter.

What do you think? Please share your thoughts and opinions below.

Stinky Finger

A professor is giving the first year medical students their first lecture on autopsies, and decides to give them a few basics before starting. "You must be capable of two things to do an autopsy. The first thing is that you must have no sense of fear." At this point, the lecturer sticks his finger into the dead man's anus, and then licks it. He asks all the students to do the same thing with the corpses in front of them. After a couple of minutes silence, they follow suit. "The second thing is that you must have an acute sense of observation: I stuck my middle finger into the corpse's anus, but I licked my index.

Soda Challenge 09 - Results

July 1st marked the end of my 30 day soda Challenge, and I absolutely freaking dominated it.
It was actually incredibly easy to do, but there are some items I wish to discuss. First of all, seeing as how Traci decided Red Bull counts as soda, I had to switch up my AM energy supplement routine (by AM supplement routine I mean drinking Monster's in the shower).
I tried this drink called Verve. This stuff sucks. It is the grittiest stuff I have ever drank, it felt like I was drinking a glass of beach sand. Second, guess what doesn't count as soda... milkshakes. Most of the meals I ate substituted a milkshake for soda... pretty sweet, right? That last bit probably helps explain why I weighed in at 215 when we started this thing and my ending weight was 214. Never the less, I am officially declaring that the Soda Challenge is an ineffective way to loose weight, but more importantly it is a very effective way to increase you milkshake consumption. So I had just beaten the Soda Challenge, what was I gonna do next? I went to the QT first thing in the AM and bought a 52oz Code Red of course (suck it Disneyland)!
So any suggestions on which video game I should pick as my prize?
(BAPs earned for Soda Challenge: Zero, too dang easy to earn any BAPs)
